Powell Point is an unincorporated community in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States.

County highway maps from the 1930s showed the Powell Point settlement as comprising a church and a few homes.

[2] Powell Point is located on Farm to Market Road 2919, 2 mi (3.2 km) northwest of Kendleton in western Fort Bend County.

[2] The Powell Point School was transferred from Kendleton to a neighboring black settlement in the 1890s.
