Bufo kavangensis Poynton and Broadley, 1988 Poyntonophrynus kavangensis is a species of toad in the family Bufonidae.

It is found in Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and presumably Zambia.

It is associated with ephemeral pools and pans.
