Primrose is a village in Boone County, Nebraska, United States.
Primrose was platted in 1902 when the railroad was extended to that point, although a small Irish settlement had existed there for some time.
[5] The present name is after David Primrose, the original owner of the town site.
[6] According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.28 square miles (0.73 km2), all land.
41.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
There were 12.5% of families and 14.9% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 33.3% of those over 64.
