Pyrenopsis is a genus of lichen-forming fungi in the family Lichinaceae.
[1] The genus was circumscribed by the Finnish lichenologist William Nylander in 1858.
[2] As of January 2024[update], Species Fungorum (in the Catalogue of Life) accept 12 species of Pyrenopsis.
