It contains the following species:

Former congeners Pyrrhosoma latiloba Yu, Yang & Bu, 2008 and P. tinctipenne (McLachlan, 1894) are now placed in genus Huosoma Guan, Dumont, Yu, Han & Vierstraete, 2013.
