Rachel Martin (born December 14, 1954) is an American performance artist, draftsman, painter, printmaker, musician and writer based in Austin, Texas.
In 1994 she collaborated with Montano on a piece entitled Day without Art, performed at the University of Texas.
Martin and Suze Kemper, an original member of Hard Women, came together again for a number of performances in 2003.
Since 2003 Martin has been Assistant Dean for Student Affairs in the University of Texas at Austin, College of Fine Arts.
Her eldest son, Nicholas is a social and environmental organizer and electric car consultant in the Bay Area, CA.
