Rachiplusia nu is a species of moth in the family Noctuidae.

It is found in South America, including Paraguay, Uruguay, southern Brazil, Argentina and Chile.

Larvae have been recorded on tobacco, sunflower, soybean, alfalfa, clover, tomato, spinach and number of other plants.
