Rafael Martín Romero (born May 16, 1984) is an American former professional baseball pitcher.
In 2009, Martin appeared in 54 games for Saltillo, accumulating a 6–3 record and 4.12 ERA in 63.1 innings pitched.
[3] Martin split the 2013 season between Potomac and the GCL Nationals, pitching to an excellent 0.87 ERA with 39 strikeouts in 21 games.
[10] They assigned him to Syracuse to start the year, but selected his contract and promoted him to the major leagues on April 14.
[11] The following day, Martin made his major league debut,[12] facing the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.
Martin spent much of the 2016 season in Triple-A Syracuse, and was named an International League All-Star.
[15] On March 21, 2018, Martin signed with the Saraperos de Saltillo of the Mexican Baseball League.
