Raju Bharatan[1][2][3] (1934 – February 7, 2020) was a journalist and writer on Indian cricket and Bollywood music.
He also directed The Victory Story (1974), the first full-length Indian cricket documentary.
[4] He died aged 86 in Mumbai in February 2020 after a prolonged illness.
[4] His wife, Girija Rajendran, who predeceased him, was also a film journalist.
[5] Bharatan wrote a number of books on cricket and on Hindi film music personalities, with whom he had a close association.
