Miss Earth 2017 was the 17th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines, on November 4, 2017.

Katherine Espín of Ecuador crowned Karen Ibasco of the Philippines as her successor at the end of the event.

[2] Ibasco's crowning marks the fourth time the Philippines won the Miss Earth title—the most in the pageant's history.

Instead, the non-winning elemental queens were of equal ranking (they are all runners-up), with each being eligible to replace the winner if it were necessary.

A special mini-pageant was held on October 14 at Hannah's Beach Resort and Convention Center, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.
