She has appeared in numerous roles in film and television, and wrote and starred in a one-woman show, Addicted.
Dauda was born in Ottawa in 1973 to a Jamaican mother and a father from Sierra Leone.
[1] Dauda gained recognition in the Toronto theatre scene for her performance as Esther in Intimate Apparel in 2008.
