Rebecca, Georgia

Rebecca is a city in Turner County, Georgia, United States, along the Alapaha River.

[4] The community was named after Rebecca Sharron, the daughter of a local resident.

[7] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2), all land.

20.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 10.0% of families and 15.8% of the population were below the poverty line, including 25.9% of those under the age of eighteen and 15.6% of those 65 or over.
