On the personal front, Rick apologizes to Maya for deceiving her, and they decide to give their relationship another try, focusing on the present and not looking back at the past.

On the professional side of things, when Rick notices that Hope For The Future is in need of a new spokeswoman, he suggests Maya for the position, which she accepts.

For his portrayal of Rick, Young was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the 42nd Daytime Emmy Awards.
