The township contains these ten cemeteries: Asbury, Callicott, Jackson, Jones, Lamb, New Zion, Old Cottonwood, Riley, Saint Joseph Catholic, and Saint Patrick Catholic.

As of the 2020 census[1] there were 853 people, 486 households, and 325 families residing in the township.

There were 435 housing units at an average density of 12.25 per square mile (4.73/km2).

32.70% of all households were made up of individuals, and 19.50% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
