Rio Lucio is a census-designated place (CDP) in Taos County, New Mexico, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2), all land.

As of the census[5] of 2000, there were 379 people, 146 households, and 115 families residing in the CDP.

There were 187 housing units at an average density of 175.1 per square mile (67.6/km2).

20.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
