Rita Edochie // ⓘ (born 16 April 1964)[1][2][3] is a Nigerian film actress.

Rita Edochie is from Anambra State, in the southeast region of Nigeria,[4] and is Igbo.

[5] In 2016, she revealed that she was sexually assaulted in primary school and gave birth to a child.

[6][7] She earned a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka in 1990.
