Robert L. Gerry III

Robert Livingston Gerry III [1] (born 20 September 1937) is a businessman and petroleum industry executive.

His paternal grandparents were prominent thoroughbred horse breeders, Robert L. Gerry, Sr. (1877–1957) and Cornelia Averell Harriman (1884-1966).

[3] Nuevo was eventually sold to Plains Exploration & Production Co.[4][5] From 1997 to October 2013, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Vaalco Energy Inc., a public oil company.

[4] Vaalco's primary source of revenue is from the Etame field located offshore Gabon in West Africa.
