Roggliswil

Roggliswil is a municipality in the district of Willisau in the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland.

Of the rest of the land, 6.1% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (0.3%) is non-productive rivers.

Of the settled areas, 2.89% is covered with buildings, 0.32% is industrial, 0.16% is classed as special developments, and 2.73% is transportation infrastructure.

Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (96.3%), with Albanian being second most common ( 2.0%) and French being third ( 0.6%).

The age distribution, as of 2008[update], in Roggliswil is; 175 people or 27.3% of the population is 0–19 years old.

In the 2000 census[update] the religious membership of Roggliswil was; 538 (83.%) were Roman Catholic, and 55 (8.5%) were Protestant, with an additional 2 (0.31%) that were of some other Christian faith.
