Roman Catholic Diocese of Konongo–Mampong

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Konongo–Mampong (Latin: Konongen(sis)–Mampongan(us)) is a diocese located in the city of Konongo–Mampong in the ecclesiastical province of Kumasi in Ghana.

The diocese of Konongo‑Mampong was created on 3 March 1995 by Pope John Paul II.

Mampong is traditionally and historically second in importance to the Asante capital, Kumasi.

Konongo is the oldest church in the diocese, its origins going back to 1917.

The following parishes were taken from Konongo-Mampong and given to the new diocese of Techiman: Yeji, Atebubu, Kwame Danso and Prang.
