Roy Henkel

Reinhold "Roy" Henkel[a] (August 22, 1905 in Briesen, German Empire – October 6, 1981 in Vancouver)[1] was a Canadian ice hockey player who competed in the 1932 Winter Olympics.

[2][3][4] In 1932 Henkel was a member of the Winnipeg Hockey Club[5] which won the World Championships and Olympic gold medal for Canada.

He was inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame in 2004 for being part of the Winnipeg Hockey Club roster that won the 1931 championship.
