It has a recently refurbished church centre on Fountainhall Road.
George Washington Wilson offered to pay for the building to be constructed in granite but was too late as the contract had already been signed.
In 1880, the church was expanded with a tower and spire added.

In 2016, the church announced plans to sell the new manse for £1 million representing the largest amount raised by the church following a manse sale.
