[1] She was awarded the Awadh Samman in 2012 for her contribution to the field of literature by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and Zee TV.

[2][3] An MBA and Triple gold medalist from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, she has previously worked with Bharti Telecom and now lives in London.

[4] Ruchita Misra was born and brought up in Lucknow.

[7] Later she joined the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade for her MBA and was awarded three gold medals including the Best Outgoing Student Medal.

[8] Ruchita Misra has authored six books till date.
