Rukungiri

[2] Rukungiri is approximately 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Kabale, the largest city in the Kigezi sub-region.

[3] It is about 115 kilometres (71 mi), southwest of Mbarara, the largest city in the Western Region of Uganda.

[4] Rukungiri is approximately 381 kilometres (237 mi), by road, southwest of Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda.

[6] Rukungiri is a two-street town surrounded by numerous hills and valleys.

Most of the surrounding hills, however, have lost their natural shape because of human activity, most notably agriculture.
