Rumyana Stefanova

Rumyana Stefanova (11 August 1945 – 16 March 1978) was a Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast and coach.

Before joining the Bulgarian national team, she trained at the CSK club in Sofia.

[2] At the following edition, in 1967, she was part of the Bulgarian group that won bronze in the final behind Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia.

[3][4] At the 1969 World Championships in her native Varna, she won the silver medal in the hands-free final.

[4][8] After her retirement, she became an assistant to the coach of the Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics team, Julieta Shismanova.
