Tucker attended Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas.
After his professional football retirement from the Cleveland Browns, Ryan moved with his wife and four children to Midland, Texas, where they now reside.
Entered college as a Tight End, then made the transition to offensive line.

In his second season with the Browns, Tucker started in all 16 games and was the only offensive player to take part in every snap.
He started in seven games in the 2004 season but a knee injury forced him to miss the remainder of the campaign.
