Samuel M. Whiteford (May 1809 – March 2, 1889) was an American politician from Maryland.
He served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Harford County in 1867.

Whiteford died on March 2 (or 3[5]), 1889, at his home near Pylesville.
He was buried at Slate Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
