There were 1,144 households, out of which 24.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.4% were married couples living together, 6.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.3% were non-families.

31.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
