Sergio Edelsztein (Hebrew: סרג'יו אדלשטיין) founded and curated the Artifact Gallery, the International Video Art Biennale and Videozone, and also founded the Center for Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv, in 1997.
Sergio Edelsztein was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1956 and studied at the Tel Aviv University from 1976-85.
He has also curated numerous experimental and video art screenings, retrospectives, and performance events.
In 2024, Edelsztein was part of the selection committee that chose Naomi Beckwith as the artistic director of Documenta Sixteen.
