Shah Beg Arghun

Shah Shuja Beg Arghun (Sindhi: شاہ شجاع بیگ ارغون, c. 1465 – 1524) was the first Arghun ruler of Sindh as he overcome and defeated Jam Feroz, the last ruler of the Samma dynasty, in 1520.

His reign was short-lived as he died in the year 1524.

His only surviving son, Husayn Beg Arghun succeeded him as the second and last Arghun ruler.

He was the commander-in-chief and head of the nobles at the court of Sultan Husayn Bayqara,[1] the Amīr of Khurasan and Kandahar in 1488.

Arghun was unable to resist Babur's invasion of Kabul and Kandahar and retreated towards Shal and Sibi.
