Shahid Aziz Siddiqi (Urdu: شاہد عزیز صدیقی) (born 26 January 1945 – 7 November 2019 in Lucknow, India) was a Pakistani bureaucrat who served as Chairman State Life Insurance and Chairman National Highway Authority.
Siddiqui holds a post graduate degree in Development Economics from University of Cambridge, UK.
[citation needed] In 1982, Siddiqi began serving as a Minister Hajj in Saudi Arabia, where he was appointed Commissioner of Karachi.
He worked with Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, a relationship he characterized as close and courteous in his tribute to her after her death.
