Based in the province of British Columbia, she has worked on special education reform for several Canadian provincial governments.
[3] Her award-winning Ph.D. dissertation investigated how to support teachers to increase access to secondary grade-level academic curriculum for students with intellectual disabilities.
[4] Working with the governments of the Canadian provinces of Alberta, Ontario, and British Columbia, Moore advocates for improvements to the provision of special education.
[6] In her work as an educational consultant, she espouses the implementation of Universal Design for Learning, which incorporates students' individual requirements into the planning of lessons and curriculums.
[9] In January 2016, she spoke at a TEDx event on the future of education held in Langley, British Columbia.
