Shirley Elizabeth Warren QSM (née Sinton; 25 April 1940 – 8 May 2024) was a New Zealand local-body politician and community leader.
She established a women's refuge and was involved in the campaign to prevent the development of Musick Point in Auckland.
[2] Warren established a women's refuge with her husband, for which she was awarded the New Zealand Suffrage Centennial Medal in 1993.
[2][3] As a conservationist, she is credited for helping save Musick Point in Bucklands Beach from development after the land was privatised when Telecom was sold by the government.
[2] Warren was chair of the Bucklands and Eastern Beaches Residents and Ratepayers' Association for 25 years.
