The main deity in this temple is Thathreeswarar and the goddess is Prasanna Kunthalambiga alias Poongullhali.

[2] This temple is located with the coordinates of (13°05′22″N 80°03′05″E / 13.0895°N 80.0514°E / 13.0895; 80.0514) at Sithukadu (alias Siddharkadu), at about 8 km from Poonamallee.

They performed penance and installed a Shivling under a gooseberry tree here in this place and named the deity as 'Nelliappar'.

Dakshinamurti, Nataraja, Maha Vishnu, Brahma, Sivakami, Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Chandikeswarar, Ganapathy, Subramaniar with His consorts Valli and Devasena, Adikara Nandi, Adi Shankara, Padukkai Jadamudi Siddha and Prana Deepika Siddha are the sub deities in this temple.
