Silvère Tian

Silvère Tian (born July 19, 1980) is an Ivorian rugby union fullback.

[1] He took part in the 1998 Under-21 World Championships[1] that were held in France[2] and attracted the attention of the Rodez recruiters.

[3] He was then recruited by Top 14 team Bourgoin-Jallieu, but, due to their important financial troubles, they had to let him leave for Agen in February 2011.

Tian was annoyed to have been given a yellow card and allegedly insulted and threatened referee Romain Poite.

Poite then decided to give him a red card, and Tian had to be restrained by security.
