Silver City is a town in Humphreys County, Mississippi, United States.

[4] On March 24, 2023, a destructive wedge tornado directly hit Silver City.

The same destructive tornado had previously hit the towns of Rolling Fork and Midnight.

Mississippi Highway 149, an old alignment of US 49W, leads southwest from Silver City 10 miles (16 km) to Louise.
