Silver Lake is a city in McLeod County, Minnesota, United States.

Minnesota State Highway 7 passes through the north side of the city, leading west 9 miles (14 km) to Hutchinson and east 50 miles (80 km) to Minneapolis.

Glencoe, the McLeod county seat, is 10 miles (16 km) to the south.
