Collins Township, McLeod County, Minnesota

The city of Stewart, a separate municipality, borders the township to the southwest.

Buffalo Creek flows west to east across the southern part of the township.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 476 people, 179 households, and 139 families residing in the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 98.32% White, 1.47% African American and 0.21% Asian.

18.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
