Siobhan Dunnavant

Siobhan Stolle Dunnavant (born September 12, 1964) is an American physician and politician who served as a member of the Senate of Virginia from 2016 to 2024.

Dunnavant represented Virginia’s 12th District, which previously covered portions of western Henrico and Hanover counties but, due to the most recent redistricting, is now centered on Chesterfield County.

[2] Dunnavant was elected to the Senate of Virginia in November 2015 and assumed office on January 13, 2016.

[3] In the 2023 election, Dunnavant ran against Democratic Delegate Schuyler VanValkenburg for an open seat in the newly redrawn 16th District, consisting of western Henrico County.

[4] Dunnavant practices medicine as an OB-GYN and was the only doctor serving in the Virginia Senate.
