Skåbu is a village in Nord-Fron Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway.
Skåbu Church is located in the village.
Skåbu is situated at an elevation of 870 metres (2,850 ft) above sea level which makes it the highest permanently inhabited village in Norway.
[2][3] The village is named after the old Skåbu farm (Old Norse: Skaðabú).
