Skotterud is the administrative centre of Eidskog Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway.

The village is located along the Norwegian National Road 2 and the Kongsvingerbanen railway line.

Skotterud sits about 25 kilometres (16 mi) south of the town of Kongsvinger and about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) northwest of the village of Magnor which sits just inside the border with Sweden.

The local industry is heavily associated with forestry, including some sawmills and other timber-related businesses.
