The club supplied two players (Bárbara and Andressinha) for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup[1] and one player (Bárbara) for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup to the Brazil national team and one player (Catalina Pérez) for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup to the Colombia national team.
However on 11 December 2015, the Kindermann's Futsal coach Josué Henrique Kaercher was shot and fatally wounded at a hotel in Caçador,[2] due to this, the team suspended all its activities during 2016 and did not play in the 2016 Libertadores Femenina.
[4] The partnership was successful and the team was third place in the 2019 Campeonato Feminino Série A1 and runners-up in 2020.
[7] On 8 February 2022, the club was renamed to Avaí Futebol Clube Feminino,[8] but CBF and FCF rolled back the decision due to Sociedade Esportiva Kindermann were the owner of the berths in the local and national tournaments and the team was called Avaí/Kindermann in the 2022 season.
