Solana, Cagayan

The Awidon Mesa Formation has at least 68 Paleolithic sites which yielded stone tools and fossils of extinct animals that include stegodons, elephants, rhinoceros, and large tortoise.

It was named after Governor General Juan Antonio de Urbiztondo, Marquis of La Solana.
