Songs of Ireland is an album by the Brobdingnagian Bards released on Saint Patrick's Day in 2002.
[1] Unlike the band's previous albums which featured songs of various Celtic origins, this album is a compilation of almost entirely Irish songs.
[2] "The Unicorn Song" is a version of the poem by Shel Silverstein,[3] recorded by The Irish Rovers in 1968.
[4] The Bards, however, added a final verse to the song, providing an alternate, happy ending to the tale of the extinction of unicorns.
