Songs of Life is the debut solo studio album by American musician Bret Michaels, lead singer of the rock band Poison.

The album is written and produced by Bret Michaels, Cliff Calabro and co-produced by Jeremy Rubolino.

"Raine" also features Michaels' first solo music video which was directed by award-winning director Shane Stanley.

"Stay with Me", recorded earlier on the unique storytellers CD Ballads, Blues & Stories, was released for the first time on a full music studio album.

A music video was eventually made for the song "One More Day (9/11 Tribute)" on the 10 year anniversary of 9/11.
