Sosnówka [sɔsˈnufka] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Podgórzyn, within Karkonosze County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.
It lies approximately 9 km (6 mi) south of Jelenia Góra, and 99 km (62 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The area became part of the emerging Polish state in the 10th century.
[1] The village was first mentioned in 1318, when it was part of fragmented Piast-ruled Poland.
