South College is a private for-profit university with its main campus in Knoxville, Tennessee.

[1] In 2003, students at South College became eligible to participate in the Tennessee HOPE Scholarship.

[4] In 2015, the Doctor of Physical Therapy program was started as the first hybrid program in the U.S.[5] Also that year, students became eligible to participate in the Tennessee Promise scholarship program[6] and the associated South College Opportunity Grant was established.

[8] In 2018, the Online Operations Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the South College Atlanta campus were both established.

[9] In 2022, South College opened a new campus in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
