South Corning is a village in Steuben County, New York, United States.

The village is near the western bank of the Chemung River and is south of the City of Corning.

29.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

The late Rick Bonnell, a National Basketball Association writer for the Charlotte Observer, was born and raised in the Village of South Corning.
