Each was having diminishing enrollments; so it was believed that combining the schools would yield a stronger institution moving forward.

In 2010, everything changed with the establishment of a brand new K-12 facility on Columbiana-Canfield Road, located almost perfectly between the two former buildings.

The new campus grouped all levels of students into one school building, with continuity from kindergarten all the way through grade twelve.

The major renovation of the new building constructed in 2010, greatly marked the past and future step in the history of the school.

- The South Range Wrestling Team won the Division III OHSWCA Dual State Championships 38-36 over Milan Edison in the Spring of 2022.
