Springdale Township, Michigan

[1] The Betsie River, a tributary of Lake Michigan, flows east to west across the northern part of the township.

Bec Scies was a settlement in Springdale Township established in 1881.

[5] As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 730 people, 324 households, and 215 families residing in the township.

There were 567 housing units at an average density of 15.9 per square mile (6.1/km2).

28.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
