Square Samuel-Paty

The Samuel Paty Square is a green space located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris next to the Sorbonne and the Musée de Cluny.

This site is serviced by the neighbouring Cluny–La Sorbonne Métro station on Line 10.

The garden takes its name after French teacher Samuel Paty, assassinated in a terrorist attack on 16 October 2020 in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, a suburb of Paris.

[2] The public garden was created in 1900 and originally called Square de la Sorbonne.
